Accumulated in electronic control units so throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed secondary air injection valve 4 (n385), circuit electrical malfunction also transmission coolant circuit relay, short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
12018 Possible Causes:
12018 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 12018 Code
- Inspect all the connections data-bus powertrain, missing message from fuel injection pump
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
