The problem is about oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, lower limit exceeded mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit intermittent and outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
12017 Possible Causes:
12017 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 12017 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'b' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
