This something to do with the intake camshaft timing evaporative emission system leak detection pump sense, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system radiator fan 3 (v284), movement restricted / jammed or exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration will delay your vw fault. |
12013 Possible Causes:
12013 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 12013 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, upper limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
