12010 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), regulation range exceeded or fuel level sensor 2, circuit high voltage is the final reason of the code. |
12010 Possible Causes:
12010 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 12010 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 1 (n262), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
