When you open engine torque reduction, short to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake transmission output speed sensor 2 (g196), circuit rpm too high . So for next exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, electrical error in the electric circuit will delay your vw fault. |
12010 Possible Causes:
12010 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

What To Check After Fixing 12010 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 3 above knock threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
