This code were stamped on VW Engine case intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor solenoid ev 7 (n94), electrical malfunction or change bank 1; system too lean at idle will delay your vw fault. |
12006 Possible Causes:
12006 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 12006 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), interruption/short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
