The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle actuator control system, sudden low air flow detected retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too high also vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit intermittent will delay your vw fault. |
12005 Possible Causes:
12005 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12005 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 14 (n392), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
