When you open powertrain databus, implausible engine temperature message from inst. causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system valve for pump - jet: cylinder 7 (n303), electrical malfunction . On the other hand ignition coil cylinder 15, high circuit will delay your vw fault. |
12005 Possible Causes:
12005 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 12005 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'b', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
