12002 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault coolant pump control, circuit range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit range / performance or bank 1, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g300) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation will delay your vw fault. |
12002 Possible Causes:
12002 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12002 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check coding of ecus in data bus powertrain
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
