Accumulated in electronic control units so linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2, compensation wire pump current, open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start please check dtc memory of adr control module and exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
12001 Possible Causes:
12001 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 12001 Code
- Inspect all the connections ng high pressure valve (n372), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
