11998 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault bank 2 sensor 1, internal resistance implausible to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so fuel injection valve 4 (n369), short to b+ also exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, open is the final reason of the code. |
11998 Possible Causes:
11998 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11998 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3, probe 2 tension too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
