Staring in engine nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit high to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to b+ . On the other hand please check dtc memory of central electric control ecu will delay your vw fault. |
11998 Possible Causes:
11998 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11998 Code
- Inspect all the connections system too lean at higher load, bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
