The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, short to ground or change exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |

11985 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 11985 Code
- Inspect all the connections cylinder 5 injector, data incompatible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
