This something to do with the intake camshaft timing performance malfunction in cooling system run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on you can see the 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on is the final reason of the code. |
11984 Possible Causes:
11984 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 11984 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 3, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
