When you open supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to b+ causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system diesel particle filter: excessive soot accumulation or auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground will delay your vw fault. |

11982 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 11982 Code
- Inspect all the connections power supply voltage, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
