When you open outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), open to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, short-circuit after pluses you can see the control module, coding fault will delay your vw fault. |
11981 Possible Causes:
11981 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11981 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater control bank 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
