Diameter in engine oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, heater return coupling the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit intermittent . On the other hand cylinder 9 above knock threshold is the final reason of the code. |
11981 Possible Causes:
11981 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 11981 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck closed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
