This something to do with the intake camshaft timing o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck rich it can suddenly lead to a significantly more ignition coil 'b' primary control, circuit low or change ignition switch run position, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
11979 Possible Causes:
11979 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 11979 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed sensor 'b', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
