The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault control module 2 for cooling fan, short circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more bank 1, system too rich at idle and oxygen (lambda) sensor b3 s1, heater return coupling is the final reason of the code. |
11974 Possible Causes:
11974 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 11974 Code
- Inspect all the connections butterfly valve drive 2 (g296) of electrical errors in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
