11971 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit range / performance causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system please check dtc memory of air condition ecu you can see the fuel pressure regulator 2 control circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
11971 Possible Causes:
11971 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 11971 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
