The problem is about exhaust gas temperature bank 1, too high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor engine- / transmission control modules, versions do not match or o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 2 sensor 1 is the final reason of the code. |

11968 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11968 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor bank 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
