The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles intake air heater "a", circuit high also ng high pressure valve (n372), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
11948 Possible Causes:
11948 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 11948 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g300) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
