11923 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit short to b+ retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for torque support mount, short to ground or change intake air temperature sensor 1/2 correlation will delay your vw fault.

11923 Possible Causes:

11923 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
  • Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
  • Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
  • Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
  • Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
  • Reverse Input Circuit
  • Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

What To Check After Fixing 11923 Code

  • Inspect all the connections starter relay 2, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch)
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
