11921 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing transmission ratio, implausible the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles air leak between maf and throttle body and pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
11921 Possible Causes:
11921 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11921 Code
- Inspect all the connections actuator supply voltage 'c', circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
