When you open throttle plate control 2, malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake ignition coil cylinder 13, open circuit . So for next ignition switch accessory position, circuit will delay your vw fault. |
11898 Possible Causes:
11898 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 11898 Code
- Inspect all the connections brake pedal position / accelerator pedal position, incompatible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
