This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), electrical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start please check dtc memory of central electric control ecu and coolant fan control 1: open or short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
11891 Possible Causes:
11891 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 11891 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure sensor, circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
