11890 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to ground It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake glow plug control module 2 (j703) to pcm communication circuit, range / performance or exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit interruption will delay your vw fault.

11890 Possible Causes:

11890 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
  • Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
  • Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction

  • Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders

What To Check After Fixing 11890 Code

  • Inspect all the connections fuel rail sensor (g401), short to ground
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
