Staring in engine hydraulic pressure sensor 2 adaptation at limit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic you can see the accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), power supply malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
11879 Possible Causes:
11879 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11879 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
