This code were stamped on VW Engine case please check dtc memory of steering electronics (j527) retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at idle . On the other hand powertrain data bus, missing message from steering angle sensor is the final reason of the code. |
11878 Possible Causes:
11878 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11878 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, implausible message of the abs control module
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
