This something to do with the intake camshaft timing pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) open / short to ground to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit or change please check dtc memory of central electric control ecu will delay your vw fault. |
11876 Possible Causes:
11876 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 11876 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature signal, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
