This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck closed causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit low and wait then o2 sensor signals swapped bank 1 sensor 2 / bank 1 sensor 3 is the final reason of the code. |
11872 Possible Causes:
11872 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 11872 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of transmission ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
