11862 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine bank 1, system too lean off idle the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck open you can see the cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance is the final reason of the code. |
11862 Possible Causes:
11862 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11862 Code
- Inspect all the connections solenoid ev 7 (n94), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
