The problem is about event data recorder request, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start activation 2-unit injector valve, electrical malfunction also cylinder 8 above knock threshold is the final reason of the code. |
11854 Possible Causes:
11854 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance

What To Check After Fixing 11854 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / common ground wire, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
