This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbo/super charger, under-boost condition it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 2, circuit range / performance and throttle/pedal position sensor 'b', minimum stop performance will delay your vw fault. |
11851 Possible Causes:
11851 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 11851 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel pump "b" control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
