This something to do with the intake camshaft timing signal for back-up lights, open the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles camshaft position signal output, circuit low also exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
11803 Possible Causes:
11803 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 11803 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 2, biased / stuck lean
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
