118 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine data bus powertrain, implausible message from control module level control retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too low and valve for pump - jet, cylinder 6 (n245), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
118 Possible Causes:
118 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 118 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
