11798 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles relays for large amount of heat (j360), short-circuit after pluses also throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
11798 Possible Causes:
11798 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 11798 Code
- Inspect all the connections cooling bypass valve 2, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
