Diameter in engine please check coding of ecus in data bus powertrain mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor gear/ratio monitoring adaptation, limit reached and engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
11796 Possible Causes:
11796 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 11796 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / reference voltage, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
