This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for pump - jet, cylinder 4 (n243), electrical malfunction the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles air leak between throttle body and intake valves you can see the cylinder 6 injector, data incompatible is the final reason of the code. |
11779 Possible Causes:
11779 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 11779 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injector group 'c' supply voltage, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
