11770 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault valve for pump - jet: cylinder 8 (n304), range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit open circuit and wait then fuel mixture control adjustment range 1, lower limit not reached is the final reason of the code. |
11770 Possible Causes:
11770 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 11770 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
