The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault cam shaft position sensor (g40), signal outside of the tolerance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles wheel speed signal 3, range / performance or exhaust bank 3, probe 2 heating circuit short-circuit after pluses will delay your vw fault. |

11747 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 11747 Code
- Inspect all the connections generator lamp/l-terminal, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
