This something to do with the intake camshaft timing sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal high It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake ignition coil 'a' primary control, circuit low and exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
11731 Possible Causes:
11731 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 11731 Code
- Inspect all the connections butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), adaptation not started
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
