11723 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 2 retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, open or change bank 1, system too lean off idle is the final reason of the code. |
11723 Possible Causes:
11723 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11723 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
