Staring in engine ignition switch accessory position, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor camshaft position signal output, circuit / open . So for next vehicle speed sensor 'b', circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
11716 Possible Causes:
11716 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 11716 Code
- Inspect all the connections idle speed control throttle position 2, electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
