This code were stamped on VW Engine case power supply, malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle actuator control system, high air flow detected and a/c clutch relay, circuit short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
11708 Possible Causes:
11708 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 11708 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, no message from transmission controller (tcu)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
