The problem is about throttle/fuel inhibit, circuit range / performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit low or change kick-down switches (f8) implausible signal is the final reason of the code. |
11704 Possible Causes:
11704 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 11704 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
