The problem is about turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), electrical run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed valve for pump - jet: cylinder 10 (n306), range / performance and wait then linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
117 Possible Causes:
117 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 117 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1 sensor 1, internal resistance too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
