When you open exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles reductant injection air pump control, circuit high or change exhaust bank 2 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached is the final reason of the code. |
11697 Possible Causes:
11697 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input

What To Check After Fixing 11697 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
