This code were stamped on VW Engine case transmission range display, circuit open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for torque support mount, short to ground or change bank 2, system too lean at idle is the final reason of the code. |
11696 Possible Causes:
11696 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
