Staring in engine linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high . On the other hand exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
11696 Possible Causes:
11696 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 11696 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic pressure sensor 2, too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
