The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), power supply malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start please check dtc memory of engine ecu or o2 sensor signal bank 2 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean is the final reason of the code. |

11684 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 11684 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
