This something to do with the intake camshaft timing evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit intermittent the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, signal too slowly you can see the hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), no / incorrect basic setting/adaptation will delay your vw fault. |

11678 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11678 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
