When you open ignition coil 'a' primary control, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) open / short to ground or change vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
11649 Possible Causes:
11649 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 11649 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
