11649 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 2 sensor 1, circuit high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust bank 4 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak you can see the pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
11649 Possible Causes:
11649 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 11649 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd' / 'f', voltage correlation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
