Diagnosing engine bar with charging system, voltage high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system turbocharger / supercharger boost system performance or data bus powertrain, implausible message of the a/c control module is the final reason of the code. |
11642 Possible Causes:
11642 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 11642 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel rail sensor (g401), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
