This something to do with the intake camshaft timing o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system ignition coil cylinder 15, open circuit and exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), voltage supply outside permissible range is the final reason of the code. |
11638 Possible Causes:
11638 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 11638 Code
- Inspect all the connections supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
